EBay automated feedback
This is more of a curiosity post, not needing anything resolved. I have had at least 27 sales in the last 6 months but only have about 14 positive feedback.
eBay automated feedback
eBay automated feedback is automatically added to the seller’s account when a transaction is successfully completed. This positive feedback gives other eBay users confidence in this seller and in our marketplace. We only do this if the following criteria are met:
- You didn't leave feedback within 7 days of delivery (as confirmed by tracking)
- We can’t see any indication of an issue with the transaction
- Tracking shows the item was delivered on time
Automated feedback from eBay will remain visible unless there is an indication that there was an issue with the transaction, for example the item was damaged or you opened a return. If this happens, we will remove the automated message.
You can still leave your own feedback within 60 days of delivery, in which case the automated feedback will be replaced with yours.
So if I'm understanding correctly, after 7 days, a temp feedback is placed, but the buyer can replace it with their own feedback for up to 60 days, right? So what happened to my 13 automatic positive feedback I should have gotten? Unless this has been ongoing for less than six months in which case, I know the answer.
I just figured someone already would know the answer to this.
Thanks in advance folks!

OP4 months agoAha! Thank you everybody. I knew I had seen that default message, but I thought maybe they had disappeared for some reason. Also, when I look to leave feedback, I make sure to get the ones that are marked as feedback received. I guess the ones that receive the auto-feedback aren't marked as such.
Thanks to @jonathanbrightlight , @kensgiftshop, @ten_o_nine and @stainlessenginecovers for your responses, I appreciate your time.

They are there.
On your feedback page, sort by Most Recent.

·4 months ago@antflan77 You have 27 positive feedbacks in the last 6 months, so that matches.
There is one more step. When viewing your own feedback page, the checkbox for “Show automated feedback” is deselected by default, but if you click it, you’ll see the automated feedback.
