eBay Authenticity Guarantee for Trainers/Sneakers is Flawed
I've just been burnt by the authenticity program, having recently purchased a pair of Jordan 1 trainers back in September.
The trainers went through the authenticity program and arrived fairly quickly. Within two months I made the decision to re-sell them, they didn't feel comfortable, so I re-sold them on eBay and they went through the authenticity program to the buyer.
They failed.
No explanation, just an automatic return case and a buyer refund. Ironically, I even sent them for authentication using the same box and packed in the confirmation documents that they originally sent me!
Thanks eBay, great service. 🙃

What condition did you use on YOUR listing?

·2 years agoThey could have failed for condition, not authenticity, if something in your listing description was off or lacking compared to physical product.
