ebay authentication team
would like to know others opinion on this matter. so i recently bought a moncler jacket with the title moncler woman’s jacket size 6 … ebay authenticated it as authentic so when you scan the tag it comes up as a picture of a moncler maya jacket saying “authentic” with title “ moncler woman’s jacket size 6 and a picture of a maya jacket .. now the jacket i received is a moncler erkins and it’s not a woman’s jacket it’s the unisex one that’s more boxy.. 2 differnt jackets one has a color and detachable hood ( maya ). the other one ( eurkins ) dose not have a color and has a permanent hood that don’t come off … ebay denied the claim for “ not as described “ now i’m upset that it makes the jacket look fake with a tag depicting a maya jacket and the title being woman’s jacket … first time is ai ran award denying then case when you appeal the case its put infront of a human … the human then denied the claim .. so when i called and made a issue about how this shouldn’t be possible they messed up the authentication and because they wont let me send them the jacket to be re authenticated correctly and sent back to me that i want to be refunded for all the trouble this has been.. they told me the only way they will give a refund is if i send the jacket to them so they can “donate “ because the seller is not taking it back … i want the jacket but im given no way to keep it and be it be properly authenticated like it should be . the only option is to give it back to ebay so i would then loose out on the good deal i got for it just for ebay to donate it rather than to keep a good customer relationship because ive gotten things sent back for wrong names my the authenticity dep before and lost out on those items.. i just feel a double standard going on for ebay’s convenience

I feel a double dip for your convenience.
Admittedly, I'm confused (maya/erkins/woman's/unisex/boxy/detachable/permanent/mis-tagged/donate/good deal) and can't tell if you want the jacket you got or not. If you don't, send it back and be made whole. If you do, enjoy your bargain.

You do not get to optimize the value you received for your money.

·5 months agoIf your complaint is that you got a jacket in a style you didn't want, you return the jacket to them and get the refund. In accepting the return, they're admitting to making a mistake.

There are too many scammers on EBAY that try to get items "for free" (that is why EBAY policy demands that customer "return the item" if they want a refund).
