eBay added a coupon code to my listing?

I just listed an item, and afterward went to look at the listing and see eBay has added a coupon code? Can they do this without the seller's permission? I feel that I've asked a fair price for the item.

eBay may be doing this to promote certain categories. It won't affect the money you receive.

eBay offers coupons to buyers from time to time, and no, they do not need your permission, because they cover the discount. You will get the same payout as you would without the coupon they offer.
