eBay: Accepted offer, non-payment
On eBay, I accepted an offer and the guy has yet to pay. Meanwhile, it was a pretty hot item and my item is not listed. How long must I wait to cancel the order without getting any negative consequences from eBay or the algorithm?

Buyers have 4 days to pay. Don't send them anymore than 1 invoice. If they don't pay by day 5, cancel the sale citing a non payment and then block them from further taking up your time. This is eBay. Hopefully they pay soon. Maybe their account they use may need a little cash injection and they can do it tomorrow when the banks are open and pay you then.
Good luck to you.

·3 years agoThere are no negative consequences when the seller cancels an order after 4 days, citing "buyer did not pay" as the reason.

·3 years agoFour days, but that window is extended if you send an invoice so don't send an invoice. eBay sends payment reminders so an invoice is not needed.
