eBay 20% OFF coupon SHOPCYBER20 NOT WORKING - December 2, 2024
I am in conversation with a buyer to purchase this item and offered the 20% discount to them. They stated that the 20% coupon is NOT WORKING and provided a screenshot of the error.
I am selling the in the fashion category under clothing, shoes, and accessories. It appears that this is an eligible category.
Please explain why my buyer's coupon is not working. I do not believe they used it twice.

·1 year agoGiven the answers above, I would just Reply with Offer of a price that's 20% off and let him accept that. He could also send you a Make Offer of the agreed amount, which you could then accept.

Did you sign up in advance to participate in this coupon event? if not, then your items are not eligible for the coupon. I don't see any sign on your listings that they are eligible.
FYI, you have to agree to pay eBay after the fact, for the 20% discount that was offered to the buyers. The sellers have to pay for the discount, not eBay. Other sellers have reported that they have no way to know if the coupon/discount was used for a particular sale or not. They just have to pay whatever eBay says they owe afterwards, when eBay bills the seller for it.

·1 year agoWhy did you offer a coupon to your buyer that does not apply to your listings? Sellers have to be invited to be part of those eBay deal coupons.

Specifically for Fashion category you can see only approx 3.4K listings from specific sellers are eligible.

·1 year agoMultiple reasons could be a glitch in the system, the item you are selling is not eligible among on things. There really isn’t much which can be done to correct your buyer’s issue.
