During a Markdown Sale, can Best Offers be automatically adjusted?
I've noticed during markdown sales, that a few buyers have had to contact me to purchase an item that was on sale. When revising the listing in question, I noticed that the Best Offer was the original amount that was set when the listing was first created. Obviously the original Best Offer was HIGHER than the new sale price, hence the buyer wasn't able to make a purchase.
Is there any way those items on sale can be automatically adjusted? Or is there a way to make changes without revising over 300 items individually that are currently on sale? This makes me believe that I could be losing sales simply because the amounts are adjusting accordingly, and that's not helpful for me or for Ebay.

Maybe one day, Ebay will look into this and make it easier for us sellers!

·1 year agoUnfortunately, I've run into that before, and no, if you have automatic offers being sent, they will never auto-adjust to a new sale price, even if that price were below the original offer price. Perhaps one day they'll add that feature, but for now it's a set dollar amount (even if you reached that amount by having it do a percentage off) and it won't adjust if you change the price via a sale or even manually.

Just an idea. You retain the settings that eBay placed on all seller accounts that require a buyer to put up a payment source in order to make an offer. This may interfere with your "sale" since all accepted offers will be "auto-billed", requiring separate payments, and no combined shipping. It may help you to revise those listings that are 'on sale' and remove the "Best Offer" feature altogether or try something else. You can likely do this via a bulk edit.
Hopefully, someone that has tried and experienced problem this can advise you.
