Double charged for shipping due to eBay error
Hello! I will have to ask for your help. Due to eBay error, purchasing label didn't go through the first time, so I had to try again. It went through the second time but unfortunately, eBay charged me twice for the same shipping label. How can I remove the extra charge? Thanks in advance for the answer!

·2 years agoFor this to happen, the first label did go through. If you had simply tried to reprint it you likely would have been fine. The second label you create, if it has a different tracking number, then you created a completely separate label from the first one. So yes would would have been charged twice. So it is NOT the "same" shipping label, you created two separate labels.
As problems go, this one is an easy one to fix, hurray!. Just go and void whichever label you did not use and in a couple weeks you will get a refund for it once the carrier is comfortable that you aren't going to use it.

OP2 years agoEveryone thank you so much! I wasn't able to void at the time of the question (didn't see the option on the seller hub), but I checked now, and eBay corrected itself, and now the double charge has been removed. Thank you again!
There is no chance that you were charged twice for the same tracking number. You bought 2 different labels.
Go to your shipping labels page you will probably see 2 labels for the same item. Void (cancel)the label you don't use for a refund. USPS usually takes between 2-3 weeks to issues a refund.

·2 years agoSimply go to the shipping labels page and "void" the unused label......

if it has the 'same' tracking number, I don't know how you could be charged twice, so make sure you void the unused label

·2 years agoThe first purchase probably went through and you got an error before you could print it.
You probably bought a label twice.
Check to see whether you have two labels for the order by looking at your paid and shipped orders.
If you have two labels, you need to void/cancel the label you did not print and use. There are time limits on cancelling labels so don't delay.
The refund for the label is not immediate, USPS delays to verify the label has not been used. You will be credited in your payments account but receive no notification other than a transaction for the refund amount. The process can take two weeks or more.
