Don't waste your time selling DVD's or any other media items on here...
Heads up warning...with ebay's policy, if you're selling more than one copy (legit or not) of any dvd, cd, vhs, laserdisc or any other form of media, your item will be pulled. Was told that anyone selling multiple copies of dvds, vhs, cd's, Lp's or Laser Disc (new, old or used) can and will be taken off ebay and not allowed to be relisted. It violets any and all copyright laws and distribution. So unless you personally own the copyright to these, you're only allowed to sell just ONE copy of whatever it is...anymore than that, it will be taken off ebay. This is a stupid policy Ebay has, but nothing can be done about it. So be careful of what you're selling on here. If this is the case, then Ebay needs to clearly state this policy on what can be listed and how many you're allowed to sell.

·2 years agoWhat you were told by the reps is not correct. Or were they referencing the Duplicate Listing policy? See link below.
And btw, eBay has not allowed restocking fees now for several years.

·2 years agoI think you nailed it right there. Obviously you can pick any popular movie title and find high-volume sellers offering multiple copies in one listing - you just pick however many you want. What you CANNOT do is make three separate listings just because you happen to have three copies. The system will flag them as duplicates. (Actually I found when I accidentally did that in my selling account that it would not let me upload the second copy at all. It is probably still possible to get duplicate listings up one way or another either deliberately or by accident.) The right way to do it is simply to make one listing and then set its Quantity value to however many copies you have. They have to be Fixed Price and not auctions.

This sounds wrong because it probably is wrong.
First line customer support's job is to tell you to clear the cache in your browser.

·2 years agoI would have thought copies (homemade) would violate copyright laws to begin with ? I presume you are NOT referring to having 4 original discs.......and trying to sell those?

·2 years agoNo. I think he's talking about the latter in your example. 4 original discs of the movie. Like you go to blockbuster or tower records $1 dvd bin and grab all the "copies" of Sharknado to sell off on ebay. That should be allowed but the OP is saying the bots or AI are going rogue. It's been like that for awhile.
I could be wrong though.
