Don’t forget to check the seller updates.
Day after day we see posters who have suddenly discovered some change that took place sometimes years ago and asking : “when did this start†or something similar. Most likely it is because the poster has not kept current on eBay changes.
These seller updates should be able to head off much of that lack of knowledge.

·10 months agoYes we do. And some are very important. Now if you are looking for announcement that cover every single change, update or addition to the policies, you will forever be disappointed.

·10 months agoFurthermore, considering that we are looking at a selling/buying site where a large percentage of the users don't read the basic startup information, not sure why we would expect a better record for reading the updates. And, yes, perhaps that IS unkind.

IDK what exactly you are looking for, but you might try the Technical Board and their list of current Tickets open for various issues. It is IMPORTANT to remember, all technical issues are not site wide and some are even local for the member, not an Ebay issue. But we do have plenty issues going on regarding Ebay.

·10 months agoI think a lot of those posters just haven't kept up on selling on ebay in general. A lot of the times (not all the time) they are people who took a long hiatus from selling. I'm not surprised when I see these posts given how old ebay is relative to many other competing online channels.

·10 months agoSo what about sellers who have hundreds of FB as a seller, but post here to question the amount of their final value fee? And then someone expresses surprise that they were unaware of how the FVF is calculated, considering the length of their eBay selling experience, that person is made to feel like they've been unkind.

Don't worry about getting an abundance of emails if your Subscribe to Announcements. They don't do that. But they do Announcements for important things we all need to know about and I encourage everyone to subscribe to the board.

Now all you need to do to subscribe is click on that big BLUE button on the right that says SUBSCRIBE. Or if you prefer you can go to OPTIONS on the right side of the screen, click on the down arrow so you get the menu and then click on SUBSCRIBE. It really is as simple as that.
