Does Refunding a Buyer Before They Open a Case Affect My eBay Account?

Hi eBay Community,I recently had a situation where a buyer contacted me about an issue via inbox. I refunded the buyer before they opened a case and told them they can keep the product.Will doing this create a negative impact on my eBay account, such as affecting seller performance metrics or my seller rating?Thanks in advance for your advice!

As long as a case was not opened for Item Not As Described, you don't take a hit in Seller Metrics. From what you have presented, you should not see any repercussions.
