Does any seller know where a buyer will see their 'feedback request'?
I have a buyer that made a mistake and wants to correct their feedback. I sent the 'request' but after 24 hrs nothing changed and they tell me 'I don't see it'.
Anyone?

OP4 months agoFor anyone that cares- if a buyer is using the APP, it appears in 'notifications'. Buyer finally found it and revised.

·5 months agoThe request may appear in the buyer's eBay "Messages" folder, eBay officially emphasizes that it sends an email containing a direct link for the buyer to "Accept" or "Decline" the request.

·5 months agoAsk them to check their email including spam, eBay sends an email for feedback revision requests, they can also go to purchase history and will see a banner there if the request was sent.

OP5 months ago@ten_o_nine so besides email, which SOME see as well as 'messages' but it should be ON MESSAGES as well?

·5 months ago@stainlessenginecovers Did you bring up the subject about the feedback to the buyer or did they come to you first?
If it is the former, I'd say they told you want you wanted to hear and now they are playing dumb.
I had a seller send me a revision request a few years ago. I keep every email. I checked, and sure enough I received the feedback revision notification in my email. Tell them to check their email account that is tied to eBay. If they say do not have an email, they are blowing smoke.

OP5 months ago@christworks They came to me after realizing that they jumped the gun on 3 different ways (all in 20 minutes sending 4 emails before I even had a chance to see them and respond)
1.) was looking at the 'backside' of the item
2.) giving neg feedback stating "I sold them used item"
3.) opening a 'return'
Then, they 'closed' the return and apologized and ask how they can 'delete' their neg feedback, how they love our item and how they need to buy MORE items to finish 'chroming out' their engine.
I know better than to 'chase' someone for a feedback revision

·5 months agoWhen I get messages from customers or EBAY it always appears on the "top right of the screen" in box labeled "messages". It is very small and easy to overlook.

OP5 months agoI have to think the buyer sees all messages as we are talking back/forth; but the 'revision request' does not show up in messages..at least according to this buyer.
