·2 years agoNote: Only affects listings using calculated shipping
eBay recently changed default calculated shipping settings so that buyers get the discount instead of sellers. As a consequence, after eBay fees sellers accepting this change will ALWAYS receive less than the actual cost of shipping.
Some sellers used the discount to offset part of their shipping and handling expenses.
Despite eBay's change to the default, sellers can still change this setting:

·2 years agoIf you were charging retail prices before, ebay may have changed your preferences to charge buyers the discounted price. You can change your preferences back to charging the retail cost under discount shipping settings.
