did your negatives DISAPPEAR before their expiration date?
As you're aware Ebay's policy of keeping negatives visible/active comes in three delightful flavors.
One month. Six Months. Year.
I had one negative. Clearly buyer's remorse. He admitted to his own mistake in his messages to me. I requested it be removed based on his own admission of guilt but Ebay let it stand saying the was entitled to his opinion about being confused.
WHAT? He thought a (standard/basic) audio cassette tape deck was instead a DAT Deck (Digital Audio Tape Deck) even though there was no mention of it anywhere.
That was less than 3 months ago.
His negative should still be visible.
Today it was gone.
I never requested another attempt for removal because as you know once you're told no they will not further discuss it.
I'm not complaining but just wondering if any of your negatives went POOF!

·1 year agoDoes he still show on ebay? Usually (or used to be), if a buyer was kicked off ebay, his feedback was removed........

·1 year agoIf the feedback page does not say "not a registered user" then another possibility is eBay reviewed reports you filed on the buyer on the return, found them to be abusive, and removed the neg based on that rather than your initial FB removal request. Returns are not always evaluated for abuse immediately.

·1 year agoIs the buyer NARU? Go to their feedback page and see if it says "not a registered user" - when a buyer is changed to NARU status because of buyer abuse, FB they left is scrubbed.

OP1 year agoeverything is status quo no naru. I looked at his feedback left for others there is only one (he's a new member) & mine is gone. can he remove his negative after almost 3 months? I don't believe in getting into name calling but since Ebay allows you to defend yourself (years ago you had to be very careful about what you said in your reply) I basically called him a liar by his own admittance.

eBay did it and my last post (#6 above) explains the most likely scenario of what happened.
