Did I Miss An Ebay Announcement Regarding Weather-Related Delays In Mailing Packages?Q
I've received countless messages from ebay this month but nothing indicating that sellers won't be penalized due to weather-related delays in shipping and delivery. In MA we received 20" of snow and I'm still digging out and roads are a mess. Might be a formality but I'd rather not have to deal with metrics issues because I couldn't get to the PO today.

·8 months agoPeople should really shop Amazon if their purchase is time sensitive. I doubt anybody is selling anything that can't wait an extra day or two. It will be ok.

·8 months ago@kchcollectibles why?? there's no guarantee that Amazon is any faster (79% of items sold are shipped by 3rd party sellers and NOT Amazon).

·8 months agoI may make a new thread on this, but I'll post an update that may help some sellers.
I was able to get to USPS this afternoon, but there is absolutely no mail moving across much of Virginia and North Carolina. I was told that it could be Wednesday or Thursday before mail starts moving in the areas in these states that were impacted by the storm. It will be later for some. So basically it did me no good to drop stuff off today, because it going to sit for a while.

·8 months agoI got tracking for a package coming from North Carolina today...to be delivered this week...I kinda just laughed at that.
And I mailed a priority package to the West Virginia today and clerk said expected delivery is this Thursday...we both laughed...

eBay will protect your status due to the storms
You might consider putting your items on Time away to increase your handling time.
Time Away
eBay is aware and will protect your selling status, but I suggest you be proactive and extend your handling time to prevent issues.
