Detailed Seller's Ratings
Does anybody else think it's time for Ebay to get rid of DSR's?
They're obsolete, skewed and unfair. Ebay uses them for everything from Billing, to Item Placement within the product content list.
There are accounts on this Site with substandard DSR's and Negative Feedback numbering in the thousands with no accountability, selling next to Honest Seller's working their tails off to keep this a place People actually want to do business with.
It's a broken system in desperate need of replacement and/or removal

·1 year agoWe’ve just been demoted because of mail lost and items not found. We have been told that we have been sent to the bottom of the barrel and our promotion
fees are worthless. Nothing can be done until January when they review again after the Christmas rush. It’s Impossible because they’re making it hard to sell items. So there is a penalty for a demotion standard rating. Below standard rating.

·2 years agoNo; they don't. They are now just for 'future buyers' to look at. They haven't been used for ANYTHING for about 5 years now. But they are helpful when buying (if a person has a 1 or 2, then you can assume they don't know what they are doing)

·2 years agoeBay has had DSR for as long as i can remember. How is getting rid of DSR going to prevent you from selling next to competitors with lower ratings than you? How do you know they do not work as hard as you?
