Destroyed Poduct by Buyer
I had a buyer that clearly damaged an item and is sending it back, Destroyed. It is worth over $1100. His explaination is a lie.
Any advice?

·Jul 20, 2026 at 7:55 PMassuming he filed a INAD, you pretty much only have 3 options. accept the return he will get a label, and you refund after you get the item back. or you just refund and don't get the item back. just don't ignore it as ebay will refund with your money and you don't get your ebay fees back.
you can try to file a claim with the carrier but they usually deny and say poor packaging

What type of return request was it? Was it NAD (not as described)? Or was it a remorse return?

·Jul 20, 2026 at 7:44 PMGood Luck, I've been doing Ebay since 1998 and I have found its easier just to refund their money, as 9 times out of 10, Ebay sides with the Buyer, not sure why but that's how its been with me, and I don't sell alot of high dollar items, do to that fact. You could try going to Post Office and filing a claim, at least to get your money back. Good Luck on whatever you do.
