Customers who leave a "expensive" comment in the positive feedback.
I wish ebay would stop hiding prices from customers.
They apparently have no idea what the item costs until they receive it.

·6 months agoMy all-time favorite positive feedback was " way overpriced but I had no other choices" which coincidentally was the exact reaction from a buyer I was looking for.

·6 months agoIt's a positive feedback...if it ain't free...it's expensive.
By the way, gas by me went up today...😢

·6 months agoTo me, the word "expensive" being used to describe the cost of an item is a positive. They also tied "expensive" cost to the "quick shipping." They also expressed appreciation. This buyer is saying that while they paid up, it was well worth it. I'll take that positive feedback any day of the week.
Here is my run-in with this issue a few months back. If they had stated the item was expensive, that's one thing. Here, they said the shipping was expensive so I defended myself on that point:

·6 months agoI buy things that I think are too expensive all the time.
I bet you do, too.

·6 months agoI dont think "very expensive" is necessarily a negative...my house is very expensive and that's a good thing, my car is very expensive and that's a comfort thing....so it's just stating an opinion and placing a value on it. If someone said it was "really cheap", would that be a pro or a con, a negative or positive, glass half full or half empty?

OP6 months agoWhy would a buyer say that?
They know what it's going to cost BEFORE they buy it.

You can have it removed most likely.

·6 months agoI didn't recognize you with your new avatar. It's odd that it shows the 'old' one when I click on your FB.

OP6 months agoThis is weird.
I will look in to that.

·6 months agoNot really. You can tell from the avatar blurriness that he updated his avatar here on Community, but did not update it on his eBay profile. For some reason Khoros changes avatar pics uploaded directly to the forum to super low res.
For more context: last year Khoros stopped pulling in avatars from eBay that weren't already established on this forum. Then @devon@ebay got Khoros to add an option for users to upload avatars direct to the forum. But it's separate from ones eBay profile and, as mentioned, super blurry.
-------------
As for the FB, eBay typically removes FB like that when I ask under this part of the FB policy:
"The buyer is raising an issue that was correctly disclosed in the listing"
Price and shipping are clearly disclosed in the listing. Nobody forces them to purchase. Feedback saying price or shipping are too high are (in my experience) easy to get removed.

OP6 months agoWhere can I do that?
Someone else here mentioned that my new avatar was blurry.
It looks fine to me?

·6 months agoWhen you added that pic you did it through your profile page here on Community. Unless Khoros fixes the issue, any avatar uploaded here will always be blurry.
If you want to use the same pic on your eBay profile then you can edit that either on your eBay profile page, or on your Edit Store page. Whatever you upload to eBay will not affect the avatar you uploaded here to Community.
I'm having trouble finding the screenshots I have uploaded to Community (the photo system here sucks), but if you can't find the edit options, let me know.

Edit to add @inhawaii : I see you edited the store avatar, but that's separate from your eBay profile avatar (on feedback page). Go back to the edit store page. Close out the annoying AI banner pop-up, and underneath that you'll see a small link to edit profile. Click that. Then at the top of the next page on the right you'll see an edit link. Click that. Then off to the left a pencil will appear over your avatar. Click that and make the changes. That's your eBay profile avatar, separate from your store avatar, separate from your Community avatar. eBay makes it so easy. 🙄
