Counter offer limit for seller
I have two items that has received multiple low ball offers. I reached my limit on counter offers, i did realize there was a limit! What do I do now? I'm still getting offers and can't respond.

There was another recent post with the same or similar complaint. Although the buyer was able to counter, the seller was limited in their ability to respond.
found it.

·9 months agoYou might want to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
What you are doing now ... haggling multiple times with low ballers ... is clearly not working.
I would suggest that you stop haggling, and just set a firm price.
I am sometime baffled at the effort a seller will expend to not tell buyers exactly what their actual price is.

·9 months agoI'd be interested knowing how many counter offers ebay allowed. I had an overseas buyer who started by asking for 75% off and we went back and forth at least 5 times before he opted to pay what I was asking; he also left + feedback, which surprise me.

·9 months agoAccording to eBay: "You and the buyer can send a maximum of 5 counteroffers each." https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/selling-buy-now/adding-best-offer-listing?id=4144

·9 months agoIf they're low ball offers, why counter? They're not likely to come up to an amount you'd accept. I simply decline offers that are significantly lower than I will consider, and let it go. Rarely, they will end up offering more and it will be worth considering. Usually, I never hear from them again.

·9 months agoCan't respond as making a counter offer to the same potential buyer? Just decline the offer. Whenever I get a lowball offer I just decline it immediately or have a minimum offer which would be accepted. That way I don't have to deal with the back and forth countering.
