Contact Support
Anyone know how to get in touch with support other than the emails they dont answer. I have not gotten an order in a week. A local customer tells me they got an error trying to order from me. On top of that last day I got an order, I got one of those scam messages pretending to be support. I didnt touch it, but still I need to get them to check everything. All the posts on her with the link for call back are now just going to the help page.
Update: Support did contact me back and checked my account. Everything looked ok. Thats all I wanted! I figured it was all coincidence but in the 'hacking' world we live in, you can't be too carefull

Most compromised accounts aren't "hacked" into by brute force. The passwords are simply left accessible to anyone who wants them. For instance, lack of 2FA, while using easy to guess pws.
If you left your front door open and someone walked in, would you say "I neglected to leave my home secure" or would you say "a hacker broke into my house"? Which would be more appropriate?

Probably a coincidence.
It appears you are a newish seller and you are selling in very saturated categories. You have to remember that there are millions and millions of listings in the categories in which you sell. You will find that inconsistent orders is a normal thing. Several days with "normal" orders then a day or two or three with no orders then back to "normal", and an occasional day when you get way more orders than you expect. It depends on what you sell and whether anyone is looking for those items on any particular day.

·6 months agoIf/when you get ahold of customer service, can you please do me a favor and ask them to look in to my account. My sales have also been slow lately.

They must have turned your spigot to low.

The spigot is not variable. It's either on or off.

Just for reference: Re: your Spanish Dancer figurine, there is a very similar one like yours (very small differences) on Etsy. Says it is "L'Amerique du Sud" (South America) and the artist is Solange Sansregret from the 1980s-1990s. (Hers is signed).

OP6 months agoI know, with everything going on in the world no surprise. They got back to me, checked my account and looked good. Getting consistent orders, then none since that fake support message, it was just strange. Can't be too careful in this hacking world we are in

·6 months agoTo contact customer service you need to go to Chatbox then type in your issue. Then type agent please. Need to speak to an agent. Then you will see "Have us call you back." Click that and then Ebay will call you back. There is no direct number to call. What do you mean you haven't gotten an order in a week? Are you referring to a sale? Lets save you a lot of time customer service isn't going to help you with that. Comes down to price and demand. Check your prices. You may be overpriced so nobody is buying your items. Check to see if what you are selling actually sells. The demand may not exist for certain items.

OP6 months agoThat wasnt working this morning. I did get the one that pops up and they called me. I know about the demand. But going from an order recieved almost every day, to all orders suddenly stop on the same day I get this strange message. I just wanted to check my account. We live in a hacking world nowadays, can't be too careful

·6 months agoI'm not sure what the 'everything' they need to check would be (unfortunately, we do get spam - that message sounds like the stuff I was beginning to get on Mercari - you were smart to leave it alone and or forward it to ebay if they're still tracking spoofs).
There's nothing wrong with your products, you're just selling in a very overcrowded category in a diminishing market - it's gonna be slow.
What was the 'error' your potential customer had?

·6 months agoIm not sure what you want to ask customer service? We all get issues from buyers or spam emails...and we do go long periods without sales. You're normal as normal can be here
