Keep trying . Tell autorobot chat its too complex please call me. just act like they do and repeat until eventually you get what you desire a call back
The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service.
Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is.
Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.
Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority. And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.
Does anyone have the link to speak to a live person at eBay?
There isn't a direct link. You have to work through the Help pages to get to a point where eBay will offer to phone you. Don't Google for eBay Help numbers on the Internet, as those will only lead you to offsite scammers.
If you post details of your situation here, someone more qualified than the typical Customer Service people may be able to help you.
There was a link on this site a couple of days ago which i bookmarked but now I can't find it. It worked great - led me straight to where the next question was for my number. Your answer is incorrect

I can assure you that my answer was not "incorrect." 🙂 If you found an even better shortcut, great, but just don't lose it again. In the meantime there are people here who are willing to help if you'll just describe the issue (and maybe promise not to tell everyone that they're incorrect).

·1 year agoThe usual Seller problems are Claims for Item Not Received (INR) or Item Not As Described (NAD).
Occasionally we see a new or returning seller with problems setting up a Managed Payments account.
And a lot of overseas sellers who have been shut down for poor customer service.
Is your problem one of those?

·1 year agoIn my opinion the written Chat is much better than talking to an agent.
First because the Chats are with trained eBay employees, not with minimum wage subcontractors.
Second because to write out your problem you have to actually think out what it is and then explain it.
And the agent can read it and ask clarifying questions.
The agent also has time to think and research rather than having hysterical yammering in their ear.
Downside being that Chats are slower than talks. Upside being Chats are slower than talks.
And you can read the response and ask clarifying questions.
Many of those points work equally well here on the Member Boards.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options.

What is the issue? You are better off asking here.

·1 year agoTwo better options are to ask any questions here or pose it to google. The bottom line has contributed to an absence of customer service options.
