FWIW if the buyer clicks on the store link that will give them access seller store categories and the built in store search function. Unfortunately not to what was sold and will not work with sellers that do NOT have a store. Only helpful if a buyer thinks(knows) to check. For the number of extended hours this is been going on most "searchers" have been left to their own means or most likely just gone elsewhere. Not the desired consequence because of an issue of this nature!!!
-Lotzofuniquegoodies WHeIMHTFDTMMPG (Who has eBay Items Made Harder to Find Due to Multiple Major Programming Gaffs) Doesn't that acronym just roll off the tongue? In process of generating a really nice not thank you card. 😞
As a side other day doing a search using google for an item, first result was an eBay listing. When I clicked on the listing there were basic item details but no seller info or price item sold for. Hmmmm? Totally new one on me. The new normal?
Usually when I click on "view listings" there is a menu on the left hand side with various search options, such as "completed" or "sold" items. That menu is not showing for me.
On a desktop, I clicked on "View listings" under batmaninc's original post. It took me to the seller's listings with no left navigation bar or option to select categories anywhere. I could still sort by price, newly listed, etc.. At the top of this listing page I then clicked on "Visit profile" which brought me to all of the listings again but NOW with an option to select categories at the top of the listings. There was NO option to sort by price, newly listed, etc. on this page. I was also able to see a category link when I clicked on batmaninc's feedback link only AFTER clicking "View listings" first. Again, no sorting option by price, ending soonest, etc.. Note that the category link only appears with the newer condensed feedback page, not the "see all feedback" link. No sold/completed link option anywhere I tried except using the advanced search workaround.
It looks to me like ebay is messing around with navigation link location, possibly moving things from the side to the top. I don't need more clicks to get where I want to be.
I hope this gets fixed but a clunky workaround is achieved by going to advanced search. Put in your user name and there is still a completed listings option. Works for now.
I use completed listings to sort through sold items by category which helps me as I'm listing similar items. Ebay already made it harder a few years ago when they eliminated a ton of categories. On top of all the changes, it seems like there are always a few features that have stopped working and haven't been fixed even though they are still listed as features that can be selected. I'm so sick of the "it's not you, it's us" screen that I've stopped caring. Sadly, ebay doesn't even seem to be trying anymore. Their attitude seems to be "just keep making us money and be grateful we still let you use our site". Has anyone received a reply from ebay about this issue? I stopped asking for help a while ago because it was taking weeks for a reply, if I ever even received one.
Super frustrating. I am seeing the same issue but seems to be only when viewing an individual sellers sold listings. If I search site wide for an item I can see the filters in the sidebar but If I look at a particular sellers items then the filter bar disappears.
I am having the same weird error as well on my eBay store too. I have a blank left side bar as well. I am not able to see any completed listings and sold listings on my store and on other saved seller stores as well. It would appear that this issue may be site wide upon my initial observations. I hope that this is a temporary glitch that eBay technicians are working on. I also have noticed that my sales dropped today as well. I have not had any issues making any new listings as of yet. Has anyone had any new developments or answers into fixing this problem?
No store Categories for saved sellers including my own store. BLANK WHITE strip down left hand side. No wonder views and sales are nonexistent today. I also had a strange occurrence while Using a SELLERS SOLD ITEM template through general Ebay search bar to list a similar item. The Original listing came up with all the Item Specifics but the Listing Title automatically changed to my LAST NEW ITEM LISTED TITLE. Never seen that happen before.

I am having exactly the same issue. On "seller's other items" shows no search refinements or categories to select. Just white space. We just had our first sale since Friday showing buyers can't navigate. I don't think I have ever had a full weekend of 0 sales. If there is a ticket opened please add me as well. Thank you!

Hey @coinslabz26! I did confirm that there is an issue impacting Store-branded search and is being worked on now.
He mentioned store branded search. This problem doesn't affect only stores.
Does that mean that he hasn't confirmed there is the problem that we are referring to?
Devon has been made aware that this affects non-store sellers, too, in another thread, and he has indicated that he has passed that info along to the developers.
I saw that about 1 hour ago but they changed it up, now I have too much on the drop down menu like brand material, type, condition, item location??? Actually looks like the menu I would see in a main ebay search, oh well got the sold section back.
Why would you say the issue has been fixed? I just checked my store through another ID and now the only thing showing on the left side bar is UNDEFINED for every single category I had set up and saved in my store. no more categories just a string of 30 words all down the left side saying UNDIFINED. Click on one and it takes me to a "Undifined" category in my store with some listings??? I wouldn't say that is fixed?
shows reasonable looking categories for me. If you still don't see that, try holding down the shift key and refreshing the page to ensure you are getting the latest version of the page and you are not looking at a cached version.
Dealing with a similar issue here with one of my favorite sellers. I can't sort by price range or anything else. Everyoption to filter on the left side of the page is missing. Personally, I don't have time to watch every auction that's ending soon that I have no intention of bidding on because the price is higher than I want to bid.
22 year buyer here. Just too complicated to find the item I might want to buy, not to mention researching the buyer through past sales and feedback. They have to change this back. Don’t have the time to sort through every item being sold. Definitely buying less.
Sold items for individual sellers may still be viewed via Advanced Search. Select click sold/completed then add the seller.
The eBay programmers motto is probably one click bad a dozen clicks good. Or they have a bet on who can program the simplest of tasks to require the most clicks from customers.
Every change made seems to make the eBay interface more customer unfriendly.
Please updates us, I have the same problem, I use the sold/completed because I list alot of the same stuff. Saves me time from having to start a over every listing.

In the meantime @tsme35 you might try using Terapeak because you can click on recent ended listings from Terapeak then use "sell one like this" from the ended listings.
I use sell similar, so just have to change the pictures, I have the descriptions already filled out. I'm not signed up for terapeak and archive on the sellers hub is glitchy. Just tired of the glitches, ain't one thing its another.

Ah! If you are selling similar from your own listings then I echo chapeau's advice to use templates. Terapeak would be way too much of a pain - I suggested it because I thought you were using sell one like this from other sellers' listings.
Can you not go to the item on your orders page and sell similar from there? Or from your ended listings page changing the filter to show all not just unsold?
You could also try what eburtonlab suggested upthread where he said he could access the classic search results with filters when using Advanced Search @tsme35 .
I can't see ended listings, sold or unsold, when I click on my store, the whole left side is missing, I can click on the archived listings but its glitchy, like I have to wait 5-10 seconds for the page to load.
I've given up for the night, I have to fill out 2 more missing mail requests, the St. Louis sorting hub is not scanning packages. I have one that's left and come back since the 11th
Ebay couldn't care any less about us sellers. I've been on ebay since 1998 and have NEVER seen a supposed "improvement" that seemed to be for anything besides ebay saving a few cents or making more money on our backs (see managed payments). These "improvements" ALWAYS make the site a little clunkier and more difficult to use. Ebay, if you wonder why you're losing so many users, look in the mirror and stop sticking it to us sellers.
The last change that eBay made that I regarded as an improvement was requiring feedback to be tied to a specific transaction. Prior to that, you could just leave feedback for any seller at any time.
Please updates us, I have the same problem, I use the sold/completed because I list alot of the same stuff. Saves me time from having to start a over every listing.
This.
When you can't even do a sold search on your own items it's beyond ridiculous.
The screenshot I posted is from a UK seller that I purchase from frequently. Not only can I not search on sold listings because the filter criteria is missing from the left side of the listings, but I cannot see all listings sold by international sellers now because I cannot toggle on "Worldwide" as the delivery option. This is very very bad for anyone wanting to purchase (as I do frequently) from international sellers. I can log into the UK or French ebay site, but who wants to bother with that? This new listing page format is just terrible. No buyer or seller should have to use work-arounds to get past either a long-term bug or just plain bad coding. I'm going to submit my feedback to ebay but also wanted devon@ebay to know this is happening to folks in the US, not just the EU/Australia. I am on a laptop, do not use the mobile app and am beyond disappointed in this because I'm missing out on items and sellers are losing buyers.
I cannot find the products in the category I am interested in buying. This cannot be how you expect it to be. Am I really supposed to scroll through every item listed? Also, I used to be able to see a sellers feedback with one click on the number next to the name. Now it takes quite a lot of searching. Buying a lot less since this happened.
The whole left column disappeared for me. It's just a big white empty space. I'm able to search completed listings by keyword, but not view an individual seller's completed listings. Unless of course, I have the link saved, and then I can view them, but I can't toggle to current listings or anything else. This is using Firefox. Chrome worked for a minute, then stopped working. The app is working fine.
Same here, I don't see the option to look at a seller's sold or completed listings at all now. Swap out USERNAME in the link below with yours, there is no panel on the left to sort by category or listing status anymore
Are you looking at view listings or sold listings? The op is referring to sold listings. When I replied that I could see them earlier I was on my ipad using Safari. I'm on my pc now on Firefox and the whole left column next to view listings is empty. I can't check off any item specifics that I want to search or sold listings so there is some sort of problem.
Looking at your screenshot...Were you using a US location when searching as I think that I can see a work starting with "J" under your location on the first search? But then Luckywinner is a posting ID so you wouldn't see active or sold listings under their ID even if you were searching with a US location.

@pjcdn2005 GREAT Catch.......I was in Japan (checking something) and forgot to change back to US..lol.......and that was the cause of not being able to view listings.......apologies......
The "view listings" link is now showing a store or profile-type page rather than the traditional "seller's other items" page with the categories and filters on the left side.
If I search by seller username on the Advanced Search page, I get the original "other items" page like this:
When I click view listings on the forum or click on a seller's listing and then on 'sellers other listings' I see the same thing...the regular search page but the left side is blank so there is no way to search item specifics or see sold items.
So it sounds as if I am seeing something different than others, or that I'm confused or that my view hasn't been changed yet.
Either way, I hope it is a glitch as it doesn't make sense.
When I click view listings on the forum or click on a seller's listing and then on 'sellers other listings' I see the same thing [...]
Yes, it appears that eBay is fiddling with page layout again. They may add the category and filter options to that page before they finish.
In the mean time, if you go directly to the Advanced Search and use the "Search by Seller" section, you should still be able to get the original page with the categories and filters, though now it takes extra effort.

Bookmark this link until eBay updates or fixes the link or page you would normally use:

When you can't even do a sold search on your own items it's beyond ridiculous.

·2 years agoSame problem here. Sellers are losing money because customers can't check their auctions.

·2 years agoContinuing from my response below...

·2 years agoI cannot find the products in the category I am interested in buying. This cannot be how you expect it to be. Am I really supposed to scroll through every item listed? Also, I used to be able to see a sellers feedback with one click on the number next to the name. Now it takes quite a lot of searching. Buying a lot less since this happened.

·2 years agoThe whole left column disappeared for me.

Yes, Google Chrome seems to work. Thank you.

·2 years agoSame here, I don't see the option to look at a seller's sold or completed listings at all now. Swap out USERNAME in the link below with yours, there is no panel on the left to sort by category or listing status anymore

Do you see any options on the left side of the search page? Which browser are you using?

·2 years agoI'm getting this on SOME, not all posters, on this page when clicking "View Listings", don't know if Khoros problem or Ebay......
pjcdn2005
·2 years agoAre you looking at view listings or sold listings? The op is referring to sold listings. When I replied that I could see them earlier I was on my ipad using Safari. I'm on my pc now on Firefox and the whole left column next to view listings is empty. I can't check off any item specifics that I want to search or sold listings so there is some sort of problem.
Looking at your screenshot...Were you using a US location when searching as I think that I can see a work starting with "J" under your location on the first search? But then Luckywinner is a posting ID so you wouldn't see active or sold listings under their ID even if you were searching with a US location.

·2 years ago@pjcdn2005 GREAT Catch.......I was in Japan (checking something) and forgot to change back to US..lol.......and that was the cause of not being able to view listings.......apologies......
I do concur that side bar is missing......

·2 years agoThe "view listings" link is now showing a store or profile-type page rather than the traditional "seller's other items" page with the categories and filters on the left side.
If I search by seller username on the Advanced Search page, I get the original "other items" page like this:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fss=1&_saslop=1&_sasl=dhbookds&LH_SpecificSeller=1

·2 years agoWhen I click view listings on the forum or click on a seller's listing and then on 'sellers other listings' I see the same thing...the regular search page but the left side is blank so there is no way to search item specifics or see sold items.
So it sounds as if I am seeing something different than others, or that I'm confused or that my view hasn't been changed yet.
Either way, I hope it is a glitch as it doesn't make sense.

Yes, it appears that eBay is fiddling with page layout again. They may add the category and filter options to that page before they finish.
In the mean time, if you go directly to the Advanced Search and use the "Search by Seller" section, you should still be able to get the original page with the categories and filters, though now it takes extra effort.
pjcdn2005
·2 years agoNot for me. I see your sold items. What were you searching for?
luckythewinner
·2 years agoWell, the obvious possibility is that none of them have completed or sold recently.
That aside ...
It would help immensely if you gave us an example of the search terms you are using.
I just searched sold items for 'shirt' and got 2.6 million results.
