·4 months agoBesides what has been posted, what do you mean by messaging buyers? You have only had one sale. Do you mean something else besides contacting that one buyer like contacting people that have it on their watch/saved list or have looked at one of the items you have for sale?

Go to "My eBay", up in the right-hand corner -- scroll down to "Messages" and click on it.
This will take you to the "Messages" screen.
Scroll down to the buyer with whom you wish to communicate -- click on the gray area which shows their eBay name.
The next screen that you will be sent to permits you to write your message -- click on "Send message," and compose your message.
When you are finished, click on the little paper airplane symbol, at the lower right corner
Message will be sent to the buyer.

·4 months agoYou might want to turn off any ad blockers for that webpage if you use them. I have found that to fix many issues online with different websites where I am trying to fill out a from, send a comment etc.

·4 months agoMany users have been confused, but it’s not a technical error, just a design flaw. You click on the light gray text that says “Send message” and type there, not in the empty space above it. I can’t provide a screenshot at the moment but someone else probably can ( @eburtonlab didn’t you have a screenshot, or am I misremembering who did?).

·4 months agoAre you not able to click the "send message" box at the bottom of the message screen and then type your message? Then to send you have to hit the little paper airplane symbol to the right of that to actually send. It's weird to me. When I first used the new message screen I was trying to type my message in the big empty box rather than to hit send message first--anyway it wasn't intuitive for me.

·4 months agoIs your browser clean and updated? Have you tried a different one? It's not a system-wide tech issue, it always works for me.

Suggest you check to see if your browser is updated, and/or try a different browser to see if that is the problem. If you have a long outdated operating system........like Windows 7, that also could be the problem.

·4 months agoFor starters Ebay techs are not here. You will have to report the issue. How long have you had this issue? Has it been a week, days or just now? If just now I would suggest wait a day to see if you can send a message then. It works fine for me.
