Combining Shipping
Summary: In the discussion about combining shipping, inhawaii mentions a feature that allows sellers to combine all orders from one buyer through bulk shipping, noting that the option to access this feature was previously more visible on the shipping page. dhbookds acknowledges this point and adds that many sellers are either unaware of or do not utilize this shipping feature. The discussion highlights the need for better awareness and accessibility of this tool among sellers.
A new seller for our museum is running into a problem combining shipping. The beginner's software doesn't allow combining, nor does it allow a lister to paste the tracking info on the additional item. Anyone have a work around? Without the tracking payouts are delayed.

·4 months agoYou can combine shipping on the shipping label page (as long as it's the same buyer).
2 or more item numbers with 1 shipping label and 1 tracking number.
It will then automatically upload the same tracking number to each item.
I've done it many times.

·4 months agoYou are correct and i've noticed that not a lot of sellers use it or even know about it.

·4 months agoI use Pirate Ship. You can do whatever you want with shipping and then add the same tracking number to each item for combined shipping.

·4 months agoTracking number:
Orders
View Order Details
You will see the option to add tracking on that page
BUT IF YOU SHIP THROUGH eBay - you don't have to worry about that, as it adds automatically.

·4 months agoIs the "new seller" using the Phone App, if so, change to the web browser on the phone or use the desktop site on a real computer. The App sometimes hides the editing tools.

·4 months agoMy ebay
Preferences
Account Tab
Shipping Preferences
Combined Shipping Rules (Edit) --> SAVE
THEN
Business Policies (also under account tab)
Create Policy >>>> Shipping
Once you create your shipping policy (which is ship method and handling time) you will add the combined rule to that policy
Then you will add your shipping policy to your listings
Took me forever to get it, too.

·4 months agoI would suggest that you ONLY hire competent experienced people to run your ebay.
Second, I am not aware that ebay has "beginner software". Are you sure this person knows what they are doing?
