How to give a buyer a shipping combine discounts. He has the item on the cart. I have not been able to figure out how to change the combine shipping discount.

·2 weeks agoThe only way you can do it from the Cart is to have the buyer request and invoice from the cart. The option should appear in the same box as the items the buyer wants to purchase from you. At the upper right side of the box.
You can't just issue a discount on things in a shopping cart because they are NOT yet purchased. The only way to do that is by the buyer requesting an invoice as I suggested above.
Or do as a couple other posters suggested. Set up Combined Shipping Rules or use Calculated Shipping.
For me, I just have my buyers contact me. If they overpay on shipping when purchasing multiple items, I just refund them promptly. I have this described in all my listings.

·2 weeks agoIf you want your Buyer to see the Combined Shipping Discount "in advance" as they add to their Cart, you would have to apply a Calculated (or Flat) Shipping Rule to each of those respective listings. Works well actually, I use it on my Media Mail Listings primarily, but also on others that I don't mind having pro-rated shipping at Checkout for.

For the future, you can also set up shipping discounts to apply automatically if you want. You can go here to do that.

·2 weeks agoYou can't give a combined shipping discount on one item "on the cart." The key word here is "combined," which would indicate two or more items "on the cart."

Then send them an invoice.
