Comapatibilities / Interchange auto parts??
I'm seeing several of my listings with HUNDREDS of different vehicles propogated in the Compatibilities section.
I didn't do that!! It's crazy wrong info!!
Is there some setting that I've overlooked that lets eBay do that without asking or anything on my part??
This is unwanted and causing some real issues.

Checked that and it's turned off. Also says that if it was turned on, and you turn it off....all the compatibilities will be gone also.
I went back and checked that last three listings that I saw this.
All three were items that the buyers wanted cancelled in the past.
I cancelled and hit that re-list button while doing so.
Apparently, when re-listing, ebay took it upon themselves to add compatibilities.
1985 to 2024 on a Nissan Torque Converter??
Well, I guess that's one way to sell parts...ugh

·8 months agoI'm seeing crazy Item specifics added to mine. Like it says... Bolt Pattern ...17x8. I had a return because it said the material was chrome. The color was chrome. AI is not very smart. I think if they want AI trained then they should pay us for our knowledge.

Under Account Settings > Selling Preferences > All Listings and Orders > Automate fitment on listings (Fitment Plus Auto)
This is the page with a Toggle Button that shows after you click Edit:
