China Shipper from Hebron Kentucky sends me this message. What would you do ?
So a China Shipper using an Amazon FBA Warehouse in Hebron Kentucky sends me this message. I'm not quite sure on how to respond.
Dear friend,I hope this message finds you well.It has come to our attention that you are using product images that belong to our company, in your eBay listings. We kindly request that you cease using these images immediately and replace them with your own original photos.We understand that maintaining a successful eBay store requires high-quality visuals, and we encourage you to take your own photos to represent your products accurately. Using proprietary images without permission is against eBay's policies and can result in serious consequences for your store.We value fair competition and wish to resolve this matter amicably. Please confirm within the next 48 hours that the images have been removed from your listings. Failure to comply may leave us no choice but to report this issue to eBay for further action.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.Best regards, Kuang

OP11 months agoYeah i reported his message as a threat and added his username to my blocked list. Wish i could do more.
When you see Shipping from Hebron Kentucky you know who the Sender is even though he most likely has an Agent here in the US.

·11 months agoIt seems to me that once upon a time, ebay said that all images uploaded to ebay as part of a listing belonged to ebay. If ebay ownership is still true, then you are free to use those images.

OP11 months agoListing was removed on my end. It wasn't anything of much value to me anyway. Faulty Subpar China part i shouldn't have listed.
So how can i get him removed from Ebay for his Sellers Location.

eBay does not require that we sleep with the inventory under our pillow. Your misunderstanding of this is your mistake.

OP11 months agoYes but he's circumventing Ebay rules by his Selling Location. His stock may be here in Kentucky, I don't doubt that be he's definitely hiding out somewhere in China.
No matter the size it should never be Rules for thee, Not for me.

·11 months agoThe owner of the intellectual property is asking you not to keep using it, just as any of us would ask those who 'borrow' our photos stop.
So, I would simply stop using their photos and take your own.
I once got a message from a company to not use their verbiage in a listing I had - I actually did use their verbiage as part of a description, but I quoted it and gave them attribution, as is general practice. But I paraphrased it and took the quote down.
