Check your listings for incorrect Handling Time and Return Policy, PRONTO!
I recently made a post about a strange thing I was observing, didn't get any replies but I didn't care because it didn't seem like a big deal anyway, just odd, and if anything beneficial. Or so I thought. I was noticing that eBay was giving me an extra day to ship on some of my recent Solds (the "Ship by" prompt). Well, I happened to be looking at my Seller Level page tonight, and was about to click away, when my eyes caught the info box at the very bottom, talking about TRS+ benefits. Then my eyes about bugged out when I realized it said just over HALF of my active listings qualify for the fee discount. So I went to my listings and randomly opened up a few (in 'Revise' because the regular 'buyer's' view doesn't show handling time), and it wasn't long before I found a listing like this, saying my handling time is TWO days, AND I don't accept returns!!
Then my stomach sank as I pictured opening up every single listing to see if it had these incorrect policies. Luckily I then remembered Bulk Edit. There, I could see that all the ones with 2-day handling were the same ones with no returns, so at least it was congruent in that way. But other than that, I couldn't see ANY kind of pattern as far as how this could have happened. They were created on various different dates, in different categories, some created as Sell Similars and some created from scratch. So, obviously a random glitch. I'm glad I caught it now, but what sucks is opening up a bunch of Sold listings and seeing how many I got no TRS+ discount for, starting about a month ago.
So check your listings (curious to see if anyone else has this and didn't realize it). It's interesting that the incorrect polices just happen to be the very 2 that are the conditions for TRS benefits, but that doesn't mean this glitch only affects TRS sellers.
