CDTFA/Tax Franchise question for California taxes
for the California tax franchise board - what are other companies doing for reporting.
Is there a way to differentiate california customers from anywhere else.
I know as sellers we personally do not collect any taxes and that is up to ebay to pay those for us.
when we file - do we just say zero sum collected? Any input would be greatly appreciately

·1 month ago · EditedYES, File (for ebay sales) as often as you are required all ZERO's to keep your account active, if you had any sales not on ebay those will need to be added separately.

OP1 month agoThe only online selling we do is through ebay - we have never done any direct sales to customers. So when we file, since we have not collected any taxes - we would declare ZERO taxes?

·1 month ago · Editedyes, all zero's. ebay handles all taxes on your behalf, i was just clarifying there are other reporting requirements should any of those apply to you.
