Car Sale, Florida.
My Father Passed away leaving behind a mustang Project car in Florida, where we live. The car has original owner title holder with Bill of sale to my Brother in Connecticut. Connecticut doesn't issue new titles.
Its a Rolling frame, So we cant drive it to DMV to Register in Florida to sell. Would original owner title be fine? Bill of Sale is in my Brothers name would i be allowed to transfer? Florida Requires it be registered, titled and insured "Going to DMV in the morning to ask"
Could He list it for sale for sale in Connecticut and pick up in Florida?

·1 year agoNot sure of legalities of ownership but before anyone can be listed for sale EBAY you need to register as a Seller. EBAY requires that you provide your checking account# and social security# (for income tax purposes).
It might be easier if you listed on this vehicle on Craigslist (Florida location) because vehicle is located in
Florida. When you list on EBAY is would show local pickup as "Connecticut" (this would be very confusing to the buyer).

·1 year agoLaws of the state that issued the most recent title would seem to apply here. While you may have a Bill of Sale to your brother, I don't think it really has any standing as far as the original title is concerned, since that would remain in force until someone (your brother, presumably) applied for a new title.
In other words, if you and your brother are willing to forget that the Bill of Sale ever existed, then the original Florida title would seem to remain in force here, and you would be selling a Florida car, not a Connecticut car.
