💡I am wondering if this has to do with February reporting? Lots of stuff here seems to get messed up at the end of February every year.
I don't think so b/c the screen we're discussing DOES function correctly, despite being picky LOL. It sounds like the reporting is not functioning correctly? You are certainly correct that Feb End & Year End tend to be problematic for reports, in general. I used to work for banks & those were the 2 most frequent problem times of the year 🙂

Definitely not. What you're referring to is on Feb 28 servers being overloaded with too much data to process, causing issues for approx 24 hours before everything catches up and settles. It's a one day thing, and it does not affect being able to search past orders; it's a lag that only affects new actions like renewing listings, ending listings, auctions ending, etc.
@mcdougle4248 I'm not sure what insight you're asking about, but if anyone has it, it's Wasting. It is how you see those sales & it is & always has been finicky. Sometimes it takes me 3 tries, but I've never examined it keystroke by keystroke to see exactly where the hang up is to alert the team who handles that screen. There are many other parts of this screen that have always been glitchy too. Particularly on the Search functionality.
There's not much insight to offer @mcdougle4248 . As @simply-the-best-for-you said, it generally depends on the order you enter data. If you want to change the 'search by' filter or the 'status' filter, do that before entering your custom date range. It's like that on many areas of the site that use filters - not programmed well and changing something could reset other fields.
In the end I can pull up 2 years history every time, although sometimes results are missing. It's been that way from the start. There's even a message at the top (or there used to be) warning that the results may be missing data.
In my opinion, that tool is fine for a quick look up and I do use it for that. But if you want real data, download a Transaction Report.

I tried that. It doesn't work for me. Can only go back 1-year.
@pf9000 That selection on the calendar is a bit tricky. It does work, but I get caught by it all the time, if you accidentally click anything else or don't do it in the exact right order, it reverts. So click the appropriate one & then arrow the calendar back & even though the earliest date is specified, you usually have to click it anyway. It sometimes takes me 2-3 tries before I get exactly what I wanted, it's finicky, but it does work but it's only 2 years worth of data.
eta; I just got caught with it resetting when trying to do it to post this & double check on how you do it lol, but I got it to go back the full 2 years, it's just finicky.
Did you try selecting Custom and entering the date range you want? I can see data going back to 3/6/2023.
@mcdougle4248 What kind of data though? I think the OP is just talking about viewable Orders. Those only go back a maximum of 2 years, or that's all I've ever heard of anyway. And it's what I got just now.

OK, now I see what you're referring to. It is being very finicky.
@wastingtime101 any insight?

Great point. I usually only go back one year, and that is to look at my variation listings to see if they might be getting stale.

·6 months agoThat's what it looked like to me too, but by using the popup calendar I was able to go back to Mar 7, 2024.
