Can't post listing, says "Your eBay account is restricted" - But it's not
Trying to update a listing and I get this error --
Due to restrictions on your account, this service isn't available. To remove the restrictions, please provide the information requested in the eBay message titled, “Your eBay account is restricted.†If you believe you are receiving this notice in error, please contact eBay's Customer Service.{e279955-1239014x}
I have no reason to believe my account should be restricted. I see nothing in my account, in box, or email that would indicate that there was any sort of issue. I don't see this message they're referring to. And of course I have no idea how you even contact eBay...not in many years have I been able to.
FYI Seller since 2008, 100% feedback, 500+ sales. This is pretty weird.

I suspect eBay took notice of you suddenly selling 3 expensive electronic items and is wanting receipts or the like to prove they're legit. Check your eBay messages in the from eBay folder, any such correspondence should be there.

OP11 months agoWhy are you being so pedantic? This is not a case of some idiot who thinks they're not doing anything wrong when in fact they're being shady as **bleep**. And there is nothing "sudden" about my listings at all. What I am selling at the moment is no different than what I have been selling since I started on ebay. There is no correspondence form eBay at all outside of normal alerts about buyer offers and the like. I said as much in my post. Not at all helpful.

·11 months agoNobody here will know why your account is restricted. To contact an agent over the phone go to the chat box and say my account is restricted. Then type in "Need to speak to an agent" Eventually the "have us call you" will appear. Have an agent call you.

OP11 months agoYeah obviously no one knows the -reason- but this is literally the only avenue that ebay gives you to complain. I don't know how you manage to get a phone call, but when I talk to the chat bot, it just send me in circles. I've never been offered a phone call.
When you are in chat do you put in the word AGENT or are you just typing in call back? Try typing in AGENT…works for me every time I want to speak to ahuman.
