cannot contact Ebay customer service
Am not able to contact Ebay. I am trying to run a transaction report and it is not working properly. It used to be so easy to talk to an agent and get help. Not sure what to do anymore. Any ideas?
Just added. Was able to make an entry on the dialog box and they are suppose to call me. Thanks for your help.

·9 months agoI know you are having problem running "transaction report" but EBAY has a better report available, which might work for you.
EBAY has "easy to read" 1-page report that shows YTD totals for (orders, refunds, EBAY fees, shipping expense). Go to PAYMENTS, REPORTS (select LAST YEAR and 2025). This has everything you need for Federal income tax reporting.
ORDERS (report this amount to IRS)
-Refunds
-EBAY fees
-Shipping expense
-Misc. expense (cost of goods, mileage, packing materials, office supplies, etc)
NET TAXABLE INCOME
You only pay "income tax" on the Net Taxable Income amount after you take all your deductions.

OP9 months agoThat is helpful. Thank you. However, when I go there to the year 2025, it only gives me monthly reports. What am I doing wrong?

·9 months agoI just went thru this also and yes it was hard. I had to keep fighting with the automated chat telling it to call me and after 5 times typing in call me it finally popped up with the box to have a call come to me. Never had this happen before so hopefully its a glitch. By the way the call ended up being useless anyways. All you get is someone more confused than me that can't fix the issue.

OP9 months agoI read online that they have even done away with their general 800 number. The only number I could find for them on Google is to report fraud.

·9 months agoClick on "Contact us" at the bottom of the eBay home page. When the dialog box opens, enter "have agent call me" as often as necessary until the automated assistant responds with the option to have agent call your phone number on record.
