Cancelled ebay store by mistake
HI, I must have clicked on a button while was on the page. I was considering cancel the store. My mother decided she didn't want to. We are signed up for Basic $21.95. I have tried to reopen it but the only option is Basic $27.95. Is there any way to have go back to $21.95?

You’ve cancelled your Basic store subscription. Your eBay store 2gals01vintagefinds will be closed on Nov 1, 2025. Until then, all of your listings will continue at your store subscription rate. After this date, your Good ‘Til Cancelled listings will automatically renew at non-store listing fee rate. Your auction listings will continue until they end.
What you should know:
Your store settings will be saved for 30 days, so if you change your mind, it's easy to reopen your store.
When I click "reopen your store" it is only offering the Basic $27.95 and not Basic $21.95. Maybe on November I will be able to reopen at $21.95? They do say it will be easy to reopen. I had no intention of
cancelling. I was on the page because my mother was considering it.

click "select and review" under the Basic store sub (27.95) and on the next page where you review, you should see the option to select between monthly or yearly. That should solve it - come back and let us know.

OP10 months agoHi, I did as you suggested. the Basic option was only 27.95. There was not any review suggestion option. Ill give two more days. Maybe when it hits November it will give more options.
Is there an actual ebay # where you talk to a live person. The online automated and call in are awful.

No. eBay no longer has a direct number for you to call. You must use either the chat or call back options.
DO NOT be tempted to Google and try ANY of the results shown for “eBay’s phone number.â€
These are numbers created by scammers (posing as eBay customer service representatives) hoping to steal your info.

To be in contact with eBay you have some options:
-You can request a call back from eBay during west coast business hours here: eBay Customer Service
-Contacting eBay via Social Media:
Contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

I suspect by you cancelling the subscription in the last month of the annual subscription the only option their programming spits out between now and the end of October is the $ 27.95 rate. Since they are retaining your store settings for 30 days that too may affect what their automated system defaults to. I think by speaking with eBay you can get it all straightened out and reinstated on the annual subscription at the lower rate.

Cancelling your store in the middle of the LAST month (or any month) does not change the fact that your account has full benefit of the ZIFs (Zero insertion Fees) per the store level for the entire current month.
I think you might be right that if you simply wait until November 1 you can simply open a new Annual subscription at the lower rate.

·10 months agoAnd if you were already on a 12-month subscription and you accidently cancelled it before your year was up, you need to check to see if you were charged any early termination fees.
