Cancel listing

How do I cancel a listing? I can't seem to find a pace to do so. I am fed up with eBay as they are now holding onto my money for a month. Of course, in the meantime they are getting the interest on it.

Why not just wait it out? One month interest on a $5000 balance is relative peanuts. The reason they are holding the funds is because you have no prior record of sales and to make sure that the buyer receives the item (to which hopefully you added Signature Confirmation as it was more than $750) and no other problems occur. After some more sales you will not see any account hold and will get your funds in just a few days.

Do you want to cancel a listing, or cancel an order? The two are very different.

If someone has ordered something, you need to ship it, regardless of when you will get your money. If you merely want to end a listing, you can do that at any time before it's ordered with no penalty, but there are severe penalties for sellers who cancel too many orders, including potentially losing your ability to sell on eBay forever.
