If you cancel after the sale has been made for any reason other than "buyer requested cancelation" or "problem with address" you will get a defect. Because you're an international seller, you may also receive a defect for BBE, even for the reasons above. Too many BBE defects and your account will be restricted or unregistered.
Is this the listing for which you got a negative feedback for not honoring the "deal" with the buyer, or is it another one?
If you start canceling sales because you are not happy with the prices you receive, your days on eBay could come to an end as eBay will not tolerate that. And if you lie and say the customer requested the cancellation, that is even worse because you are being dishonest.
It is your responsibility to list your BIN items with the price you are willing to accept, and if it is an auction, start the auction with the lowest dollar amount you will accept. If you start an auction with a low price and it sells for that, you are honor-bound to sell it for that. You don't get to pick and choose which sold items you want to honor and ship and cancel the others that you don't like the sold price.

You can cancel, citing 'Out of stock/Item no longer available'. Know that sellers only get a couple of those. Use them wisely.

·9 months agoOf course you can cancel the "deal".
Ebay can't MAKE you sell it.
But a deal is a deal. You're not supposed to cancel it just because you made a mistake in the price.

This should apply to buyers as well.
