Can someone help me with the international harmonized code for a video game?

I have had 2 packages returned to me that said I used the wrong Harmonization # for a video game to an international country.

Can someone tell me what the correct number would be for a ps4 video game?

For disc games : 8523.49, for cartridge games 8523.29

Those codes are indeed incorrect:

9504.50 is for game hardware (for example the PS4 console itself).

9504.30 is for coin-operated game hardware.

Here is what I have used from US to Norway and UK:

8523.29.2000 is cassette media "not for sound" // video games on tape

8523.49.2020 is optical media "not for sound" // video games on CD

8523.29.1900 is floppy media "not for sound" // video games on disk

The US tariff on tapes is 86c per sq. meter of recording surface for all 3 of the above. Other countries probably have a different tariff schedule.

yes i'm aware of that website, however there is no code for "playstation 4 game" on that website. The best I could find was 9504.50.0000 and 9504.30 which both were rejected as wrong codes by customs.

That is why i'm wondering if anyone knows the exact code to use.

9504.50.00.00 seems to be the correct one. What country were you shipping to?

My serious days dealing with HTC's is long past but I never encountered a code that was acceptable in one country that didn't apply to all countries that use the Harmonized system (just about every country on the planet).

I called skypostal and they told me it was rejected for invalid harmonized code.

A few weeks ago I got one back from Chile for invalid code.

I have always used that code and been fine, but recently i've been getting some back so not sure if they're being more strict and i'm using the wrong code or what is going on.
