Can no longer list items because AI flags all of them with no evidence
Summary: mdstech shares frustration with eBay removing their listings for "enabling infringement" despite only selling refurbished 3DS consoles. luckythewinner comments on the ineffective response of creating provocative listing titles, suggesting it could lead to a permanent ban. jameshen1 and kensgiftshop critique mdstech's approach, comparing it to immature behavior. The discussion highlights difficulties sellers face with automated listing removal systems.
This last week, ebay has been taking down my listings for "enabling infringement." I have been buying, fixing, and selling 3DS consoles, all on ebay. Now, every post I make, the AI takes it down. Nothing in the posts enables infringement and my items aren't stolen. I have wasted hours this week remaking listings instead of fixing these things and I am starting to lose a lot of money because of it. I just don't like how ebay makes 4k off me in transaction fees these last few months, just to screw me over in the end. Currently have 1200 in items "Enabling Infringement" when they are stock consoles that I cleaned Timmy's turds out of. Just to test I listed something I sold months ago by hitting "Sell Similar." Guess what. It got taken down. Glad this AI is completely untested and they test it at my expense, through selling fees, time, and the data they get from the AI taking down my listings. So I literally can't make new listings anymore and they are forcing me to go to a different platform I guess.

·2 weeks agoSo your response was to put up listings with titles like this?
"Nintendo 3DS EBAY AI TAKE IT DOWN PLEASE IM INFRINGING I LOVE HAVING NO SAY
That seems like an odd way of trying to demonstrate that you are a responsible seller whose selling priviliges should be reinstated. I would imagine that if eBay does manually review your account, that will seal the deal on a permanent ban.

Reminds me a little kid throwing a fit in a store because he can't get candy or a toy.

Look like eBay took them down or maybe the seller realized how immature those listings were. Either way I don't see them anymore.
