Can I Sell An Item with a Company Name and Logo on it?
Am I allowed to sell a pullover hoodie that has the name of a small business on it? It is a really nice Arborwear hoodie but it has the name of a tree trimming service on it. It was given to me as a gift a couple years back but I live in Florida and have only pulled it out twice to wear it because it's VERY warm. Thought maybe someone would really like it that will actually get some use out of it.

·9 months agoI don't know of any reason why you can't, There are many sellers that sell items with company names & logos on them, If you had a used Nike sweatshirt for sale , It would be the same difference even though this is a small business, It is yours so it is yours to sell.

·9 months agoThere are two problems I see with this on the tree service side:
1: Someone buys it and tries to represent themself as a legitimate arborer in this company name.
2: Someone misinterprets you as representing the company.
I would hesitate unless after contacting they give written permission or if you sell anyway include a disclaimer that you do not represent the company.

·9 months agoI buy, and WEAR, older Red Kap Work Shirts off both Ebay and Poshmark that has Company Logos on them all the time. Internet is packed with old work shirts with Company Logos on them for sale. Kind of got the idea a while back when Matthew McConaughey started the trend of wearing old Mechanics shirts around town and was photographed by the Paparazzi wearing them, would wear them to events, even gave a few interviews wearing an old Mechanic Shirt with the name "Pablo" or something still sewn in above the pocket.
So no, No reason to do all this. Contacting company, Disclaimer, so on.
OP should just list shirt, sell it. Collect the money. 😆

·9 months agoSeems like excellent advice. Original message dated 12/24/20. Let's hope the OP has made a decision and, hopefully, sold it.

·9 months agoI'm trying to list branded company products with their logo and name from Amazon sites to Ebay sites for dropshipping. Is this allowed on Ebay?

·9 months agoThis is an old thread and the mods will close it soon, but the logo and branding isn't the primary issue there. You may not dropship from Amazon or any other retailer via eBay, you must have a formal dropshipping agreement with a company that provides that service if you wish to dropship, and it's a tricky business to do well.
