I've seen this happen every year during tax season. Just remember, this is the time when people are PAYING taxes, not just filing them. If they know they are getting a refund, they would most likely have them done months ago.
Give it a couple weeks and things will pick back up.
Only 4 days? You are lucky. It's not rare for me to go 10-12 days after a flurry of Sales at the beginning of the month. EBay doesn't like to call it throttling. They explain it as giving everyone getting exposure to sell. It is actually in the user agreement. It is also common to sell to the same 6-10 of the States every month in my experience.
This is a daily complaint and has been since I've been on this board for ?15 years? There's really not always a lot of certainty when it comes to retail.
If individual sales are random and uncorrelated, a period of above average sales is likely to be followed by a period of average or below average sales so that your average sales per week over several weeks will approach your historical average.

·2 years agoYes Ebay is suppressing your sales, so they can make less money from you, that makes sense, right? Not.

OP2 years agoLove it!! Sorry I was having a bad day and should have stayed in bed. Back on track and I know it would make no sense. Talked to Ebay and they helped.

·2 years agoIt's tax season. Things always slow down a little right around Tax season. It's not unusual at all. When people get their tax returns there's a bump.

·2 years agoThe major correlation I have found between my traffic and my sales are with external site page views.
Mine are way off and so are my sales.
External site view include traffic from search engines.

If you want to think that, then you also need to think that the sales within your "best 2 weeks in two years," wasn't legitimate either.

·2 years agoThats the way online sales are.
Some weeks you sell like your items like they're the hottest thing since sliced bread.
Then all of a sudden crickets.
There are no guarantees in online sales

·2 years agoAre you asking if ebay has been suppressing your sales for 2 years?
Are you asking if ebay only allows you 2 weeks of sales every 2 years?
