Ca-Ching noise when sales are made is gone - as of yesterday
I am no longer getting a Ca-Ching noise once sales are made.. I have reset the app as normal if i have had this issue in the past, and still has not changed anything... Anyone else having the same experience.

·1 year agoThe only 'Ca-Ching noise' I get on my iPhone is news updates...not even on my computer as well.
Must be different cell phone types.
Would I change my eBay APP?...Never....I can get 'express payout' in seconds for an emergency and want that forever.

·1 year agoThe 'APP' has done this every other week for 10 years (or however it's been out).
It (the APP) is NOT designed for you to 'live on'- especially if you are a Seller.
Use a computer. Always.
End of lesson.

·1 year agoI've been getting the cha-ching, but my issue is I typically don't hear it until I go and open the app. I'll see the email that I sold something before I hear the cha-ching. It's been like this for weeks.

Hmmm.... sounds like a conspiracy is afoot!!
But yeah... my cha-ching has not worked for a long time.
The good news is that on the iPhone, you can create a shortcut that will make that sound for you anytime you like.

·1 year agoSame. Mine hasn't worked for years except very occasionally. So occasionally that it scares me half to death when it happens. I don't have an I-phone though. It doesn't really matter, my ear can differentiate the sound difference between a regular email & a sale.

·1 year agoI lost the cha-ching and it never came back - didn't matter what I did.
So now I have a fanfare that plays.
But TBH, I'd rather have some mojo than a cha-ching.

·1 year agoIn the Android version of the app, at least, there is a Notification Diagnostic tool in the app Settings under Notifications, all the way at the bottom. Using that should tell you which, if any, settings are preventing your notifications from getting through. If the settings are correct, you should hear a Cha-Ching sound at the end of the test (though when I tested this a couple of days ago there was about a three minute delay between the test and the Cha-Ching.
I heard the cash register sound today, no issues.

·1 year agoDo the equivalent of unplugging it and plugging it in again, i.e. uninstall the app and reinstall it and then set the noise notification.
Mine is annoying. It makes the ca-ching sound even when an update is installed on my tablet. LOL

I’ve had that issue in the past. What worked for me at the time, was to completely delete the app then reinstall it. Maybe this is what you did when you said you “reset†it?
