Buyers unable to see seller selling history- is this good?
Sellers price items according to condition. If buyer can’t see what condition item sold for $70 may think you overpriced the item they bought and contact you for price adjustment/partial refund. They can’t see that they same item when complete or in great shape sold for $125.
Ebay not displaying seller selling history is not a great idea in my view for many reasons.

·3 years agoThe article is referring to seeing sales history on another sellers listing that has had multiple sales. we could see when those item were sold and at what price. If you are talking about seeing which items had sold and at what price and condition, that should still be available.

In addition , for a long time Ebay shows some item not all in searches -filtered “ soldâ€. Ebay is saying to go and use Terapeak but Terapeak is inacuraye as well and I can’t use it on my phone .

That is not the only parameter. Many consider scarcity of item and shipping can come into play when setting prices. Sometimes it's just pure guesswork.

·3 years agoGo to the seller's listings, then on the left of the page, click sold. It will show you all the sellers past items sold. Have fun.

OP3 years agoso Ebay decided to backout of the scheme to remove sold history from seller store? They were stating that people use terrapeak for price researching

OP3 years agoTerrapeak doesn’t show allsold item and you can’t see why seller priced item so low-no description is available. It is very bad thing on Ebay side to do that.

that is not true. If I look at the pictures and description which Ebay is removing as well according to reports. I will quickly find out why item is priced lower. There maybe defects shown and described. Item maybe incomplete- missing pieces. Item may have flaws. Seller maybe starting seller (low feedback , new account, excessive negative feedback).
terrapeak is not showing pictures or description or you can look up seller profile and it doesn’t work on iphone so if you use it while you are on the go you are extremely unlucky.

·3 years agoSold history has never been in the sellers store. It is and always has been in under View Items For Sale page.You find it under Member Quick link in the seller’s feedback page. Or See Other Items from a sellers listings.
