BUYERS NOT PAYING
I am having a large number of BUYERS who are not paying. When I look at their accounts, they are newly established with no feedback. Is anyone else having this problem and what is the best way to handle it.

·3 years agoeBay offers a "best way to handle it". A seller who has not been paid by the 4th day after the end of the listing can cancel that transaction on day #5, using "buyer did not pay" as his reason. Buyer then has a "strike". Two strikes in a twelve month period will mean that most smart sellers will have set their buyer requirements so that they don't have to deal with those buyers.
As you go along here, you will see situations where sellers have left positive FB for buyers but have included the fact that the buyer did not pay. Please don't go that route. If those sellers had followed the correct protocol and cancelled as above, some of those buyers would be pretty much out of luck as far as buying capability is concerned.

Stop using auction style listings with Best offers. Buy it now, immediate payment required checked off and again No best offers.
I stopped using auction style listings years ago, mostly for what you are posting about. Now when I have a sale, I always get paid.
Good luck and Happy Selling.
