Buyer wants a refund. What's the process?

A buyer just purchased an item for collection and the money minus fees has been paid out to my bank account. They haven't picked it up but instead have messaged me to ask to cancel it and get a refund.

What's the process. Does the buyer have to open a refund request or something similar, or do I need to select "cancel order" or "select refund" from the drop down action menu?

I just don't want to get in a situation where I'm returning the whole amount including seller fees and am left out of pocket.

Go to the order and choose cancel order and use "buyer asked to cancel" as the reason. eBay will handle the refund including returning any fees.
