Buyer started a payment Disputer after sneakers have been authenticated
Buyer opened a transaction dispute. Reason :The buyer did not recognize the transaction.
I purchase all my shipping labels through ebay and transaction was handled by ebay. What are my chances here. The sneakers have been authenticated today 4/16 and are on route to buyer.

·3 years agoThis happened to me recently, you'll be fine. You cannot communicate with buyer for authenticity guaranteed listings. eBay will take care of it for you as long as your sneakers passed inspection.

·3 years agoIt's not the inspection. It's the purchase in question.
But I think they are safe if the tracking shows delivered.
Somebody's kid got ahold of Mom's CC. Bought some expensive sneakers. Mom figured it out and is doing whatever she can to stop it.
This is hard to do on eBay though. The trail of purchase to delivery is too easy to dispute as "I didn't buy that"...

·3 years agoI am aware, but as long as your item passes eBay will just give you your money and close the case in your favor regardless of the reason for the dispute.

You have the tracking number that's going to show the item delivered. OR, it's going to get refused and returned to you.
I'm not sure if the buyer will still have the option to "return this item" since they have already started a "did not authorize".
ANYWAY.....When this has happened to me in the past....IF the package tracking confirms delivery. Their claim and your funds will sit there for a LONG time (month or longer). Then you'll check you messages one day and it'll all be cleared up and you'll be paid.
SO long as you respond with the listing info where that user ID bought it, and the tracking showing it delivered to the address that came through with payment.

·3 years agoHello mate, I’ve had somebody do this today to em after revising the shoes this morning. I’m pretty sure it’s not what he claims it to be and he is trying to genuinely scam me here… it’s over £700 which I’ll be out of pocket for. Did you end up resolving this case and did it end up in your favour or the buyers??

This thread is 2 years old and the person who started this thread hasn't sold on Ebay in over a year so I doubt they'll reply to you.
Best to open your own post concerning your particular problem.
