Buyer scammed me

I sold a macbook, the buyer refused to take the parcel for weeks on end and opened a case which eBay decided in my favour. They then chose to collect it from a post office (maybe in on it, no idea?) and opened a return request claiming there were bricks in the box, showing pictures of a different label at the post office with a different address. The box was damaged and there were bricks in the box too, but surely the post office would have noticed this sooner than the buyer ESPECIALLY if it was there for a long time before the guy collected itâ€¦ Any idea what I should do or am I down a macbook??

There should be a weight difference between your package and the package with bricks.

You sent a package at a certain weight which usps can verify, and what he did will not match that weight, so there is proof of fraud right there.

Sorry, you'll be down the laptop and payment.

Ebay needs to step up and not allow new sellers to sell certain items until they have a little selling experience.

They don't care as long as they get their fee's.

USA post offices are different from the UK post offices. We here in the USA do not know how your post offices operate.

You have little feedback and not much experience in selling....including a MacBook. A scammer found you.

I wonder if this buyer had any feedback and how long they were a member on Ebay.

The post offices here in USA will only hold a package for 7-10 days and it will automatically be returned to the sender. (At least that's what my post office does.)
