I sold an item and the individual who purchased the item said that the item is broken. When the item left my home and shipped it was in perfect working condition. It was a coffee machine that was barely used. I had cleaned, descaled and tested the machine. The individual received it and immediately within a few hours he states that machine is broken. How is it all of a sudden broken? Does ebay protect the buyer here? Now the individual wants to return the machine. What happens if they broke the machine? I get screwed in this scenario? This is frustrating and the first time ever in over 20+ yrs of a product returned because its "broken". Maybe the individual doesn't know how to use the machine? Who will ebay protect?
