Buyer said item damaged during shipping but refuses refund very strange
So I sold a lamp and buyer left a negative that the item was received with a damaged foot broken on base, I messaged buyer to remedy the problem and offered to have the lamp shipped back I would put a new base on it and ship it back at no charge, she did not want to do that, so I offered to send new base , did not want that, offered refund did not want that, she said she just wanted to leave negative feedback that's all. So why would you not want a refund when you get to keep the item? the negative feedback would still be there, ebay does not remove a negative feedback just because you refunded someone, very very strange. So I just left it at that shaking my head in bewilderment, it is impossible I guess to make a customer happy when they just don't want to be happy.

What person in what picture and what 3 lamps? I only sold her one, I have no idea what she is even talking about.

·8 months agoMaybe she purchased 2 other lamps from someone else. Then she took a picture of a persons facial expression with the 3 lamps together. Makes perfect sense. Or does it?

·8 months agoI think she just glued the the broken legs back where you probably couldn't see the break. So all is well She doesn't want your money, or a new base or to ship it back so you can fix it. I totally understand her position.

·8 months agoI don't see the negative feedback either however I have to say some buyers you can't please. Majority will work with the seller and return the item for a full refund which is the proper way of doing business. Unfortunately you will come across buyers whose mindset is at "just leave negative feedback." Those types of buyers you will find have a long history of leaving negative feedback which they think sellers don't notice. Those types of folks I wouldn't want as a buyer. Yes I have rejected offers from buyers solely on feedback given.
