Buyer requesting refund, problem with address
Summary: In the discussion, alwaysthelowestprice raised an issue regarding a buyer requesting a refund due to an address problem. jonathanbrightlight also participated in the thread but did not provide any additional information or solution to the issue.
Buyer purchased a Tool combo kit on a May 13th. Order was shipped via USPS on the 14th. On the 18th tracking showed Addressee Unknown followed by Return To Sender Processed. The package made it's way all the way back near my address and then somehow got turned around and sent back to the buyer. As of today, the current status shows it arrived near his address again. I'm assuming USPS will attempt delivery again? 🤷

The buyer opened a case today stating they didn't receive their item and would like a refund. How do I handle this?Â

·4 months agoFor now, I would use the option to update the tracking number within the case to confirm the tracking, then send the buyer a message within the case explaining (briefly) what you see on the tracking. Since delivery was attempted, the case should close in your favor, and hopefully the item will just be delivered soon and there will be no need for anything more.Â
