Buyer request change of address eBay say no?
Is there a time limit for a buyer to cancel an order AFTER they have paid? I have a buyer wanting to change their shipping address so I told them I can not and they would have to request a order cancel ($75 camera) and that I would accept the request snd then relist the camera so they can buy it again with an updated address- I thought that was the only way how it works .., ok so now the buyer is telling me eBay won’t do it because it’s too late ? I don’t think it’s a scammer or anything - the messages are coming from the same user as who bought it but I don’t know how to tell - I can’t even see the address until I buy the label - right? which I have not yet done because I thought that would make the predicament even more of a hassle - ugh!! Advice needed much thank you!!

·2 years agoRead recent feedbacks and check ID of buyer when they joined....and what they have purchased in the past.
Check payment of transaction of email in "inbox of your emails"....
If you cancel purchase also block buyer from future purchases.
Would I mail item out...no...but that's just me. $75. bucks is too much to send to just another address.

·2 years agoThat official cancellation request that a buyer can initiate is only possible in the hour after purchase, which you would still need to agree to. If that time has passed, they can email you through eBay to ask you to cancel. You just pick buyer requested for the reason when submitting the cancellation.
*yes, I type slowly.

·2 years agoBuyer can request through eBay's system for 1 hr post-sale. Buyer can request through messages at any time starting instantly after the sale.
Just put through the cancellation as problem with address. You could also do it as buyer requested, but since it's an address issue per messages, use that reason.
